Rationale
Early Armory production changed dramatically with the inventions introduced
in the early 1800’s. These inventions ushered in a new system of
production that utilized mechanized interchangeable parts instead of teams
of skilled craftsmen.
Goal
This is a guided reading. The goal of this lesson plan will be for
students to become familiar with the web site and to understand the advances
in technology made during the Industrial Revolution at the Springfield Armory.
Objectives
The web site and questions will steer students through the aforementioned period.
